FAQ

How does it become yours?

  1. After purchase you’ll receive a link to force-copy the template into your own Google account.

  2. Open the sheet and run the Refresh once — this pulls the latest data from our master files.

  3. You’re ready to go. All tools are fully functional in your own copy.

Once you have the sheets, you’ll also find expanded FAQ sections and instructions built directly inside each template for quick reference.

If you have any questions, email us anytime at admin@stockscore.systems.

Getting Started:

  • Open your copy of the Watchlist Summary.

    • Click the Refresh Data button (or go to Watchlist Tools → Refresh Data in the top menu).

    • On the first run, Google will ask for permissions — click Advanced → Go to [Sheet Name] (unsafe) → Allow.

This is a standard one-time step. After that, refreshing is instant.

  • Go to Extensions → Apps Script, select refreshData from the dropdown, and click Run. The menu should appear after the first successful run.

How the Refresh System Works:

  • The script pulls the latest snapshot from the master data sheets and overwrites everything in columns A:AF with fresh values. This keeps your data current without slowing down the sheet.

You can freely sort, filter, add columns, or rearrange as needed. Anything outside the main data range stays untouched.

  • Unlimited. Refresh as many times as you want — daily, weekly, or right before making decisions.

  • Usually just a few seconds. If it takes longer than a minute, it’s typically due to temporary Google server load. Wait and try again.

The Scoring System Explained:

  • The Total Score combines four sub-scores: Fundamentals, Growth, Technicals, and Relative Strength.

  • All scores are generated by pulling clean, processed data from multiple supporting sheets in the master system. These sheets handle hundreds of calculations, ratios, and comparisons before feeding the final results into the main Watchlist Summary.

  • Every sector and industry has its own dedicated calculation sheets that compute averages across all covered stocks. A stock earns points for every metric where it beats its sector or industry average.

  • Financial stocks often score lower because they don’t report several standard metrics (Cost of Revenue, Operating Income, Capex, etc.). Sector and industry comparisons create a fairer playing field by only comparing similar companies.

    • Orange ≈ Top 1%

    • Yellow ≈ Top 5%

    • Dark Green ≈ Top 10%

    • Green ≈ Top 50%

  • Around 600. The highest seen was MU at 450.

  • Yes. The system is largely ratio-based, so consistent financial reporting allows fair comparisons to U.S. stocks.

Data & Coverage

  • 2,300+ stocks, primarily mid-cap and large-cap ($2B+ market cap) for cleaner data and more reliable scoring.

  • There are dozens of small cap stocks. Generally speaking, stocks under ~$2 billion often lack consistent financial data, which creates errors and distorts averages. Focus is on reliability.

  • Multiple professional sources processed through 101 supporting sheets in the master system before reaching your Watchlist.
